Palm Springs’ rich demographic diversity is reflected in our patient pool. Approximately 45% of our participants are of Latin heritage, and 65% are women. We proudly serve a wide range of age groups, genders, and racial backgrounds, ensuring inclusive representation in our studies.
Areas of Expertise
We are actively recruiting participants for ongoing research studies in both metabolic health (Diabetes, Hyperlipidemia, Hypercholesterolemia and obesity) and mental health conditions (Depression, Anxiety, Substance abuse-related conditions). These trials are offered at no cost to patients and do not require health insurance.
Facilities
We have several MDs working with us from various disciplines: Cardiology, Family Medicine, Pulmonology, and Psychiatry. Our Clinical Research site is adjacent to Desert Regional Network which consists of three hospitals and operates as Level 1 Trauma Center. Our research facility has state-of-the-art equipment including -20 refrigerator, ambient centrifuge, ECG and echocardiography, and spirometers. All equipment is calibrated regularly and monitored 24-7. We also have access to cutting-edge diagnostic equipment in the adjacent hospital.
